Mizukagami Inks

Services and goods offered by the mizuchi (river dragon), Koshimizu Miaki.All prices are IC and are expensive due to the quality of these goods.

○ Inks ○

Each item is sold as an ink stone (suzuri) and stick (sumi) pair stamped with Miaki's winding serpent seal and packaged in wax paper to keep dry and protected for transport. Bulks orders are available.

All in Balance

Meant for magic tomes and scrolls, this black ink seems to glow slightly under the right light. When activated by one's aether, moderately increases their potency in all spellcasting. However, the longer a source bearing this ink is used, the greater a price it extracts...eating the caster's aether to increase its own potency.

Whispered Words

A silvery ink that turns invisible when dried and is revealed again only by a brush of water over its characters. The ink does not run after being exposed to water.

Thoughts of You

A myriad of colored inks that leave behind a delightful scent that lasts for a good moon on whatever surfaces it's been written upon. Scents include: peach, cherry blossom, sea breeze, tangerine.

Blood on the Breeze

This blood red ink radiates malicious intent waiting to be unleashed. Writing the name of someone in its wake inflicts a terrible curse of fortune upon them which may take many forms. The target's entire birth name must be known and spelled correctly for the effect to trigger and instantaneously does so once the last stroke is lifted.

Call Good

A lovely blue hue is commonly used on holy charms and and wards, utilized to ward off evil and bring good fortune.

Call Evil

This black ink seems to writhe on its paper, calling forth the evil spirits of the land it finds itself in. Can be used to attract evil and chaos to a particular area.

Reading the River's Path

Miaki will read one's fortune based on the ebb and flow of their soul and fate's road. Don't expect empty words here. He will only tell you bluntly what he sees so you'd best be prepared. One may ask a simple 'yes' or 'no' question or something more in-depth.(Please note if there is a long queue, some fortunes may be a bit abbreviated. If you're wishing for a more thorough experience, please feel free to send me a tell and we'll arrange something!)

Miaki is an elder mizuchi, a river spirit that takes form of a dragon empowered by the waters it guards. Unfortunately, the name of the river he used to call home is long lost to a bloody history. Its waters are muddled, a stagnant scent of death lingering to once bubbling clear streams. It is a place frozen in time from wars that tore across Doma and has never been freed from the stagnant stillness that comes of lives lost in furious combat.Due to this, the once pure creature has become deathly pale, pristine blues of his mane dripping black such as the ink he creates. Instead of the surging benevolent guardian his kind is known for, he has become apathetic and uncaring to whatever mortals decide to do with their lives. After all, he's seen enough dead men in his waters to realize how fragile they are.
